Neural Stem Cell Integration in Spinal Cord Injury

Researchers from the University of California, San Diego recently published results in the Journal Cell Stem Cell of their preclinical finidings regarding the integration and functionality of neural stem cell implantation in Spinal Cord Injury. The study results document the ability of neural stem cells to functionally integrate into the neural network at the site of the spinal cord defect. These findings may accelerate clinical trials in the near future.
