Reprogrammed T-Cells as Powerful Senolytic

Researchers at the Cold Spring Harbor Laboratory (CSHL) genetically modified T-Cells to bind to the u-PAR surface antigen present on senescent cells. The study published in Nature Aging, revealed a significant reduction of senscent cells in a mouse model and appeared to slow the development of age-related diseases such as diabetes and obesity.
